New Custom Field Types in QuickBooks Online Advanced

What is currently in QuickBooks Online Plus:

• 3 text-only custom fields

• Setup under Sales tab in Account and Settings

• Difficult to filter in reports since you can only use one “text” in the customization

What is coming to QuickBooks Online Advanced:

• 10 Enhanced custom fields

• Available for sales forms, purchase orders, or customer profiles

• 4 types: Text, Drop-down list, Date, Number

• Setup under the Gear icon and Lists or via Gear icon in transactions

Bettering sorting and filtering in reports, and searching with custom fields:

• Sort lists such as customers, expenses, and invoices

• Filter financial reports by one or more custom fields

• Display custom fields as columns on reports

• Search for specific transactions by selecting custom fields in the Advanced Search
